The Department of Defense recently announced a major change that affects the Basis Allowance for Housing. The Fiscal Year 2015 National Defense Authorized Act eliminates Renter's Insurance as a component of BAH. Despite the announced change, Hunt Military Communities will continue to provide full renter's insurance (including personal property coverage) for all current residents through the later of November 1, 2015 or the residents' lease expires. Any future changes to renter's insurance coverage will be in accordance with your resident lease.
